Next week, Manifest, a non-profit men’s wellness community, is debuting several new programs to help you have more fun managing stress, including:
* 9/15 Conscious Computing (overcoming computer stress), * 9/15 Wanderlust Cycling, * 9/16 Massage for Face/Neck/Shoulders, and * 5 free yoga classes. Colin McLeod, a computer consultant & artist, helps men learn to be curious and playful with computers, solve system problems in creative, simple ways, and overcome computer fear, addictions, &/or confusion. This class will be practical, tailored to your questions & challenges, and fun. Gather at NE 15th & Freemont (Whole Foods). $5-$15 sliding scale donation benefits Manifest, a non-profit men’s wellness community. 9/16 MEN’S HEALING TOUCH EXCHANGE, Tues, 7-10 pm, Scott Winters, LMT, will provide an interactive demonstration of Energy, Relaxation, & Polarity Healing Touch Techniques to bring gentle curiosity & compassion to your Face, Neck, & Shoulders. $15-$45 sliding scale donation benefits Manifest, a non-profit men’s wellness community. 9/17 FREE MEN’S THERAPEUTIC YOGA Fall Intros, Wed, 6:30-8:30 pm; new fall semester. Learn to use yoga to address your specific wellness challenges (back/neck pain, insomnia, depression, HIV, etc.) or goals (losing weight; managing stress & related pain; increasing calm & focus). Instructor Bart Church has studied for more than 23 years & taught for 14 years. Taught by Charles Airey, who has studied Kripalu Yoga for 20 years, and Pilates.
