I developed TrainChange based on my experience from having once struggled with being overweight. Upon seeing the physical transformation that I accomplished people automatically assume that it was simply a matter of changing my nutrition plans and exercise routines. However, the real catalyst for my success is when I learned how to
Train my body and Change my Life.

During my transformation I learned that when one defines exceptionally high standards for their life accomplishing goals become easy. The difficulty, however, is remembering that because your standards must be higher than those around you it's also easy to settle for less--without realizing it.
As a result I teach members to work on improving the areas of their life that can't be fixed by simply cutting calories or training harder. For example, you've got to surround yourself with people that only set high expectations for themselves. Unfortunately, society has become so accustomed to lowering the bar in order to appeal to everyone that we've forgotten when to raise the bar in order to bring the best out of ourselves. Second, I encourage them to create daily benchmarks so that they strive to make today at least 1% better than yesterday. They use this technique as a reminder that they are making progress every day. More importantly, it allows them to judge themselves by the level of effort it took to get where they are and by their desire to keep pushing forward.
Setting high standards allows you to dodge the fickle prejudices and biased opinions of those around you. In the end, whether your standards take the form of getting in shape and living a healthy lifestyle, operating a successful business and becoming wealthy, or being the best spouse and parent you can be, living by your own standards means you can become the best at everything you do. You realize the only person on earth worthy of judging your life is yourself. This is the key to not only remaining motivated during the process of pursuing your goals but to also living life at your best!
