Hi all! Sorry for the late-ish notice and that it isn't in the immediate Diablo Valley area, but I'd like to try this samba class, and I hope you do too.

This is Carnaval-style samba, not ballroom, so no partner is needed. Think drums, hip shaking, and fun.

Over the last couple of weeks my friend and I have taken samba classes in the Mission (SF) after work, and this class is taught by another member of one of the dance groups that we have taken classes of, so I don't know exactly how this class will be taught, but I've heard good things about the instructor. Basically what I guess that you can expect is to shake your hips a lot and sweat a lot, but that's a good thing.

Their description says:
"Samba combines
the energy of African dance
the sensuality of Latin dance
and the rhythms of both
....and anyone can learn to dance it"
