Awesome newer group member Hope is the organizer of Tomorrow's Leaders playgroup in Oakley, and she's kindly offered to extend their weekly walks to our group. Here's the skinny:
The meeting location is Rite Aid. It is not a very glamorous meeting spot, but it does the trick. Our walk is not very glamorous, either. We just take the sidewalks to the park (there is even one block with no sidewalks!) and back. There are much better places to walk, but I made it like this because I do not have a car on most weekends. =)
Here are the details on our walk:
Sundays at 10:AM, 2555 Main St, Oakley
Meet in front of Rite Aid in Oakley and take a walk to Crockett Park where the kids (if you have any) can get out and burn some energy too. From Rite Aid to the park, and back, is about 3 miles. Remember your sun screen and bring your dog if you have one. We will wait 10 minutes for stragglers and leave by 10:10.
