Learning Mandarin is a self-taught skill. You'll only get out of it what you put into it. The more hours you spend studying and practicing, the more you will absorb. We have many members with a wide range of expertise, from native Chinese speakers to novices who have never seen or heard a Chinese word in their life. I have learning materials that I have created myself, because I can't distribute copyrighted materials. I am constantly adding new modules to the materials, which include basic vocabulary, grammar, and practice conversations. The documents are in PDF format and are free to anyone who wants them. Membership in the meetup is not necessary to receive the materials. ”
